To make a purchase from the Chase Direct website is very easy.
Just browse to our Online Store as long as you like. If you find something you like, just add the item to the basket.
Click on View Basket and then Proceed to Checkout when you’ve finished shopping
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Amex and you can also pay via Paypal. All orders are processed through Sagepay (formerly Protx) using 128-bit SSL encryption for your security – which means it’s very safe!
When you purchase a product from ChaseDirect.co.uk, we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order. We’ll then process payment as soon as your bank has verifed your details, and indicate acceptance of your order by sending you an invoice via email.
If a product is not available to despatch at the time of the order, the payment taken will be regarded as a pre-payment and the item will be back ordered for you.
We reserve the right to terminate the transaction in the event that the goods are unavailable, mispriced or cleared funds are not received. If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, Contact Us and we will make the appropriate changes.
All new and ex-demo goods are supplied with a full 12-month warranty from us - in addition, certain manufacturers also offer additional extended warranties. All second hand goods are covered by a 3-month warranty.
For orders made from within the UK or the European Union, VAT is added at the correct current rate; all other orders are VAT free. Please note that all website prices include VAT.
Most items are shipped by Courier, although some smaller items are delivered by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. These items will need to be signed for on delivery.
Standard delivery is just £2.99 which covers most products for the UK mainland. Lighter items may cost less but some heavier items cost more to deliver, and these charges are clearly visible through the checkout process. Deliveries to non-standard addresses are subject to a delivery surchage. These include, but are not limited to, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands & Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Channel Islands and the Republic of Ireland.
We can offer the option for you to request delivery to a different address to the billing address of the purchaser. Before a decision is made, we make several security checks to protect ourselves against fraud, we therefore reserve the right to refuse to deliver to this address should we not be able to verify it - we will contact you should we encounter problems verifying your alternate address.
Most of the items on our website are in-stock, and as such, we are normally able to dispatch your order to you within 1-2 days. Where an item is not in-stock, we will contact you to let you know a likely delivery date.
Delivery Date Picker
Our Website offers the facility to pick a specified delivery date during checkout. We always try to fulfill this request but it cannot be guaranteed. If you choose to get your order delivered on a Saturday, please also select the next day option, because there is a slight surcharge for deliveries on a Saturday. Orders for a Saturday without that option checked won't be delivered on a Saturday.
Please make sure you sign for your goods as 'unchecked'. You must check the goods and inform us within seven working days if the goods have been damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem as swiftly as possible.
A condition of purchase is that you agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
If you live outside the UK mainland then please Contact Us prior to placing your order - we can then provide you with an accurate quotation for carriage. All orders are fully insured against loss or damage whilst in transit; any damage must be reported within 48 hours of receiving your order.
All electrical products purchased from Chase Direct will be designed to work on UK voltage and, where appropriate, will come with a 3 pin, UK style mains lead.
Please note that, whilst we offer a 12-month warranty on all goods shipped to the EU, we do not cover the cost of returning faulty or damaged goods. If you need to return a product, please contact us in advance of returning an item.
For online purchases, your rights to return goods are protected under the Distance Selling Directive. If you are not completely satisfied with your online purchase, simply return it at your cost by an insured delivery method with all packaging intact and it in its original condition within 14 days, and we'll gladly exchange it, offer you a different product of equal value, or give you a full refund less the original postage costs.
Before returning any equipment, you must contact our Customer Service team for a Returns Number. Items returned without a valid returns number will be rejected. Refunds are made within 30 days. Please note that we can arrange the collection and return of goods in this instance but these additional costs must be paid for by the customer.
If your product should fail for any reason within the first week of purchase, we will collect and replace it with a brand new one, free of charge (please note that ex-demo equipment and second-hand equipment is not covered by this policy).
In the case of goods that fail after one week or ex-demo and second-hand goods that fail anytime within the warranty period, we ask that you return the goods at your cost to us by an insured method. We will repair the item free of charge and return them to you by an insured delivery method. All associated delivery costs are payable by the customer.
