Speaking to Ryan Seacrest for E! Online at the Grammy Awards, the You Da One star suggested that the key to her phenomenal success was writing music that she would ultimately enjoy listening to.

"I have an instinct and I know what I like to hear," she said. "I love music and I feel like my fans just love good music."
